Please tell us a bit about your experience at the October 3rd con. What worked? What didn't? What would you like to see us do next year? And while you're here, please let us know if you would like to be a panelist at a half-day event in the Spring focused specifically on Teaching Comics in the Classroom. We have room for 5 or 6, and we'll formalize the presentations, as opposed to hosting a roundtable.
I had a good time at the event (other than my internet conking out (DAMN YOU VERIZON!)). Presentations went well once everyone got the audio figured (more training on that next time, or maybe a "green room" where presentations can get their audio figure out with one of the organizers and then teleport to the presentation area.
The timing of the events were problematic for me, because of the time shift and also because it was Friday. But that is probably just my scheduling.
The round table I attended was interesting and ran fairly smoothly, though it took me awhile to catch on to following the discussion (and trying to figure out who was who).
I'd be interested in participating again (I'll get that connection problem figured out before spring) as panelist or presenter.
